On Friday, October 28, the University of Central Florida’s Center for Initiatives in STEM hosted 1,200 K-12 students on campus for its bi-annual STEM Day event. In collaboration with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, every student was given the opportunity to hear from former astronaut Mike McCulley regarding his adventures in space and explore a variety of STEM opportunities offered by UCF faculty and students.
