Zee Brown

Hi! My name is Zionah, but I go by Zee. I’m a sophomore majoring in Chemistry B.A. with minors in Medical Anthropology and Criminal Justice at the Honors College. I graduated from Park Vista High School, down in Palm Beach County. My goal is to become a doctor, specifically a forensic pathologist or radiologist.
Funny enough, my favorite class has nothing to do with chemistry; it’s immunology. I found the class insightful and entertaining. The teacher, Mr. Weigle, made the class funny with his jokes and his sense of humor. Since it was my first big university class, he definitely helped make university feel much more welcoming.
I decided to get involved with the STEM Ambassador program because I wanted kids to know that whatever STEM field they want to go into is possible. With guidance and perseverance, STEM doesn’t have to be as much of a struggle as people sometimes make it out to be. One piece of wisdom I try to live by is: try before you decide you can’t do something.
Outside of school, I am always involved in different activities, whether that’s reading, dancing, playing flag football, etc. I have always been a busybody and could never keep still. Recently, I went to the Bruno Mars concert, and I’m planning on going to the Tyla concert in December. I’m always looking for something new to do, learn, or experience.
