Do you want to share your passion for STEM with K-12 students? Gain valuable STEM teaching experience? Bolster your resume? If so, consider applying to be a STEM Ambassador!
STEM Ambassadors are current undergraduate and graduate students at UCF who, in collaboration with the Center for Initiatives in STEM (iSTEM), function as liaisons between UCF science, technology, engineering and math programs and the greater Central Florida community. As a STEM Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to represent UCF at local K-12 schools and on-campus events to talk about your studies, goals, and UCF in general. While providing your audience with fun, interactive, and engaging activities developed with the help of skilled iSTEM faculty and staff, you can start building your own professional network.
The UCF STEM Ambassador program is proud to be a part of the Engineering Ambassadors Network.
Interested in joining? Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will open in August. Selected candidates must be available for a brief interview in early September. If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact the program manager at Renee.Johnston@ucf.edu
