Gabryelle Carlton

Hi there! My name is Gabryelle Carlton, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Physics with a specialization in Astronomy. I graduated from Florida Virtual High School with a High School diploma and an AICE diploma. My favorite class that I have taken at UCF thus far has been the F-LEARN Intro to Research course. It provided me with invaluable hands-on experience as to what a career as a researcher would be like, and because of that, I’m more confident than ever that this is the path I wish to pursue in life!

I decided to get involved as a STEM ambassador because I wanted to encourage others to pursue their dreams, no matter the obstacles in their way. Although learning math and science may seem like a challenge at first, I hope to prove that it’s one worth tackling—especially if it’s your passion. So, my advice to future STEM students would be to take that initial leap of faith and dive right into whatever field calls you; with good effort and determination, you’ll prosper!

When I’m not nose deep into my studies, I like to get in touch with my creative side by drawing, writing, and animating.
