Jeanne Davis
Jeanne is currently the Associate Director of Flight Projects for Astrophysics Strategic Missions. She is also the Program Manager of the James Webb Space Telescope. From 2011 to 2017, she was a Science Missions Directorate (SMD) program executive for several Earth Science Missions as well as Astrophysics Missions. Prior to starting at the SMD, Jeanne worked at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station with the Air Force and NASA since 1988. Throughout her career at KSC and CCAFS, she supported many disciplines including environmental health and remediation, facilities engineering, space payload processing, and payload and launch vehicle ground systems development. Her last assignment at Kennedy Space Center was the lead integration engineer and then the deputy project manager for the development of the launch control system to provide launch and ground system control of the next generation of human space flight launch vehicles. Jeanne has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems, both from the University of Central Florida.
