Hello, my name is Kianna Hemingway and I’m currently a Senior at UCF. I’m majoring in Computer Engineering on the VLSI digital circuits track. I graduated from Winter Park High School in 2020. I have also obtained my AA degree. My dream career is a Hardware Engineer. In addition to Computer Engineering, I’m also working on my forensic certificate.

This will be my third year as a STEM ambassador! As a student in a Stem field, I want to encourage others to pursue it. I think it’s important for kids to have exposure to people and jobs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields. I’m excited to be back another year, share my experiences, and hopefully inspire the next generation. If I had one piece of advice for students interested in STEM, it would be never give up. Although at times it can get difficult, it’s important to remain positive and remember you can do anything you put your mind too.

Outside of school I enjoy traveling, spending time with family/friends, and reading.
