I’m a junior majoring in Computer Science at UCF, and I graduated from Creekside High School in North Florida. One of my favorite classes at UCF has been American History with Professor Clark, who taught last spring. His ability to make complex historical events understandable and engaging really stood out to me, especially since I enjoy hearing historical stories. I decided to get involved with the STEM Ambassador program because I enjoy helping students learn about different disciplines, much like I wished for guidance during my own primary and secondary school years. Through this program, I hope to inspire curiosity and a love for learning in students, just as I was inspired. My advice to future STEM students is to be certain about your commitment to STEM, as the journey can be challenging if your reasoning isn’t strong enough. Outside of school, I enjoy a wide range of media—whether it’s watching movies and TV shows, playing video games, listening to podcasts, or reading comics. I also love going to local band performances to unwind and vibe with friends.
