Jacob Meyer
Hi! My name is Jacob Meyer, and I’m a sophomore Biomedical Sciences major at the University of Central Florida. I’m a graduate of Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
My favorite class at UCF is Anatomy with Professor Chiarelli—her enthusiasm and engaging teaching style make the class both enjoyable and easy to learn from.
I decided to get involved with the STEM Ambassador Program after realizing how much I enjoyed helping my friends study for their exams. That experience sparked a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, and I believe the group that can benefit most from that passion is the younger generation.
My words of wisdom for future STEM students are to start your journey as early as possible—you’ll thank yourself later. It will pay off.
Outside of school, I enjoy playing intramural flag football here at UCF, reading, and spending time at Universal. My favorite book is The Lord of the Rings!!!
