The UCF Physics Department is pleased to announce the “Physics Career Exploration Day 2025,” which will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, approximately two weeks from now, at the University of Central Florida. The Physics Career Exploration Day comprises of a few short presentations, a panel discussion on career prospects, interactive demonstrations on energy conversion and storage, as well as optics and photonics, a tour of the research facilities, including state-of-the-art laser, condensed matter, biophysics, and planetary science laboratories. The event concludes with a captivating liquid nitrogen demonstration. Middle and high school students interested in STEM disciplines, as well as their parents and teachers, are cordially invited to attend this event. There is no participation fee for this event.
