Physics Career Exploration Day is designed to help students learn about the great career opportunities available to them in the field of physics and to engage in the learning environment and programs at UCF. Today’s physicists find themselves working in almost every science and engineering environment, including teaching, and are often in leadership roles.This free event is designed for middle and high school students, parents, and teachers who would like to learn more about physics, STEM careers, and opportunities in higher education. Activities will include:
- Short presentations by UCF Physics faculty
- Hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities
- Tours of research laboratories and department facilities
- A liquid nitrogen show
- Ice cream at the conclusion of the event
Lunch (pizza) will also be provided for participants.
