Hello there! My name is Amber Goerner and I am a Biomedical Sciences Major and Psychology Minor. I went to Braden River High School in Bradenton Florida before moving to Orlando to go to UCF. So far, my favorite classes at UCF have been microbiology and quantitative biological methods, both classes allow students to have hands on experience working with biomedical science techniques! I applied to be a STEM ambassador to learn new things and gain new points of view while spreading my passion for STEM. For anyone who is interested in STEM: Don’t be afraid to try new things, you never know what area of interest will truly inspire you! When I’m not at school I love to read books and crochet pillows!
