Danielle Forrest
Hi! My name is Danielle and I am currently a junior majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Medical Sociology. I graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in South Florida.
My favorite class that I have taken so far at UCF has been Microbiology and Lab with Dr. White. This lab really sparked my interest in studying organisms, and I loved creating plates to see how different bacteria react and multiply!
I decided to get involved with the STEM Ambassador program because I was taught to love the sciences at a young age. I want to share that experience with others and help them to see that STEM is not a daunting field, but a wide exciting field that has a place for any individual. For any future STEM students, the goal is progress and not perfection. No matter what you are struggling with, you are stronger than you think. Whatever step you take just proves you’re trying and that is all it takes to reach your goal!
Outside of school, I love watching football and going on road trips!
