Dr. Chase Mason
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at UCF. I primarily study the evolution of plant functional traits – the aspects of plant physiology that mediate interactions with the environment, as well as the genetic basis of these traits. Our lab primarily focuses on crop and wild sunflower as a model system.
