Benny Tang
My name is Benny Tang, I’m a sophomore and an electrical engineering major with minors in mathematics and physics. I graduated from Charles W. Flanagan high school in Pembroke Pines, In addition I was also a student during my summer months of high school at the Hong Kong Institute of Languages studying English, Mandarin, Cantonese, German, and Communications. My favorite class at UCF was introduction to Communication with Dr. Steven Neal, as much as I loved the science fields, I also believe being able to be an effective speaker and communicator is an important element of being successful in the workforce. I decided to be a STEM ambassador because I want to enrich the STEM fields for the younger generation and solidify my inner passion for engineering. Being a STEM ambassador is a great opportunity for anyone at UCF, it provides new friends and a brand new perspective of the school because we represent the university to the younger generations. In my free time I enjoy playing the piano, writing songs, and working out.
